Erika and Jose are a young enthusiastic couple

your experience on your visit to Bocas del Toro. Their love and respect for people, culture and nature make them ideal hosts.
Erika was born and raised in Transilvania of Hungarian heritage. At the
age of 16 she immigrated with her family to Canada were experiencing the
cold Canadian winters for years she dreamed about some day living in a
warm tropical jungle. After spending one day in Bocas in November of
2003 she decided that this might be the place she's been looking for. She really enjoys meeting people and hosting guests which made her decide to try her luck at running a small lodge.
Building of Dolphin Bay Hideaway started in 2004 and when Erika met Jose
in 2005 they joined forces and finished the B&B that opened in December of 2006.
Jose was born and raised in Bocas del Toro of Indigenous heritage. Since
he can remember he's navigated with his father the waters of the Bocas
del Toro archipelago. With an easy going personality, great sense of humor and extensive knowledge of the area he makes a perfect captain and tour guide for your daily excursions. His favorite pastimes are spearfishing, boogie-boarding and playing baseball.
With their eclectic worldly and local knowledge they will assure a unique experience for their guests.
