All our excursions are personalized and very exclusive, taking you off the beaten path with a maximum of four to six guests participating.  Private tours are also available.

Beach Tours

We offer trips to all neighbouring islands to spend the day on white sandy beaches, swimming, snorkelling or just relaxing in a hammock with your favourite book. Some beaches can be reached by road from the main island of Colon but most beaches in the Bocas
del Toro area are accessible by boat only.

Snorkelling

Amazing snorkel spots are only 5 minute boat ride away where you'll be dazzled by the beautiful variety of coral, colourful sponges and sea creatures.

Swimming and Wake Boarding

Please note that vile we are not located on or near any sandy beaches swimming and wake boarding in Dolphin Bay is very safe since the water stays calm and there are no currents in the bay.  Dolphin Bay like most of the Bocas del Toro archipelago has mangrove shoreline therefore access to the water is via a ladder at the end of our dock.

Dolphin Watching

Dolphin watching all year around.  From our location you have the privilege to go out at any time of the day to see the dolphins play. Take one of our wooden kayaks or if you wish we can drive you out in our boat.  On most days you don´t even have to get out of the hammock to see them, since they often swim around in front of the dock.

Canoeing

Try out the local means of transportation by hopping into one of our traditional wooden dugout canoes and maybe even try your luck at fishing.

Hiking and Bird watching

Take an afternoon hike to watch a variety of birds, monkeys, frogs and other animals.
Bird enthusiast guests have so far identified 65 different types of birds during their stay and tours they have taken with us.

Chocolate Tour

We offer trips to Green Acres, where you will get to walk through lush vegetation, beautiful tropical garden and learn all about the secrets of chocolate making and the importance of our rain forest.

Hiking or boat trips to indigenous Indian villages to get an insight on their lifestyle and handicraft

For rainy days or those guests that just want to relax we have a large veranda up at the main house and "El rancho" over the water with lots of hammocks and chairs where you can overlook the bay, read a book or enjoy watching a multitude of birds that visit the surrounding trees.

For the real adventure seeker we can arrange trips with Soposo Rainforest Adventures up the Teribe River into the land of the indigenous Naso tribe.  You can find out more information about their trips by visiting their web site  www.soposo.com

Scuba diving is available through the two PADI certified dive shops in Bocas del Toro which is only a 20 min. boat ride away.

Another really amazing experience not to miss before or after your visit to Bocas del Toro is a howler monkey refuge in the province of Chiriqui just outside of David city. www.alouattalodge.com
